What will GeoCarb do?

GeoCarb is short for Geostationary Carbon Observatory. GeoCarb will measure key greenhouse gases and plant health from space. GeoCarb will collect 10 million observations of greenhouse gas concentrations each day. It will add to what we've already learned from NASA’s Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 (OCO-2).
